Came and ordered the Ramadan Set. Was attend by the friendly and helpful staff named Hanif. Came with 3 adults and 1 kid 5yo. Everything was good, food was served before we arrived. We get the Set B and the Gulai Lomak Daging Salai was insanely good, for me who dont eat spicy food the spicy rate would be 8/10 but still can enjoy it, the daging is soft and the salai is not too strong too. Another spicy dish can make you nonstop eating is the Sambal Merah Siakap. You really have to try it the fish is so crunchy the sambal feel like home cooked. Also not to mention the Sambal Belacan is chef kiss, perfect texture and the spicy level is 100/10! The kuih muih platter is biasa je but the cekodok pisang is nice. Out total bill came out to RM249. Will surely come again to eat the masak lomak!

A newly opened restaurant in Shaftesbury. We were entertained by the jovial Hanif. Good ambience with a well-decorated interior. Their main speciality is local delicacies from Negeri Sembilan, such as Masak Salai & Gulai Lemak Cili Api. We tried their Ayam Kicap, Siakap Asam Pedas, Ikan Bilis Goreng Bawang & other side dishes. All tasted good. We requested our food to be less spicy. The portion is suitable for 2-3 people. In my opinion, the food prices are considered competitive, similar to those at Serai and Cili Kampung restaurant, etc. To improve, consider changing the plastic straws to more environmentally friendly products. We refuse to use plastic straws.

A truly satisfying Negeri Sembilan dining experience at Peria, Masakan Negeri Sembilan at Shaftbury, Cyberjaya. From the moment we were seated, the service stood out—Mr. Hanif attended to our table with warmth, attentiveness, and excellent product knowledge, making the entire meal feel well-paced and comfortable. The food was the real highlight. The gulai lomak daging salai was outstanding—rich, smoky, and unapologetically spicy, served piping hot exactly as it should be. A dish that clearly respects tradition. The asam pedas daging tetel was robust and well-balanced, with tender meat and a satisfying depth of flavour. The masak kicap ayam was comforting and well-executed, while the ikan bilis kentang cili api delivered a pleasant crunch with just the right kick of heat. The kailan goreng ikan masin rounded out the meal nicely, simple yet flavourful, allowing the ingredients to shine. The atmosphere was equally enjoyable—clean, relaxed, and complemented by a tasteful music selection that added to the dining experience without being intrusive. Overall, this is a place that gets the fundamentals right: authentic flavours, thoughtful service, and a welcoming ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more dishes and their desserts. This is the place for people who love delicious, spicy food. Price-wise, it was reasonable with the portion. Had a really good lunch here. The PIC, Hanif was very helpful and accommodating, and the place is tastefully decorated. Overall, I’ll definitely come back!

first time dining here, and the food as well as the overall ambience were great. we ordered the daging salai masak lemak and ayam sambal merah, which came in a medium portion—perfect for two people to share. will definitely come back again, especially to try the desserts next time.

Highlights of the Ramadan Set: Appetizers: We started with agar-agar and kurma, which were fantastic and set the tone for the meal with their unique flavors. Main Courses: We thoroughly enjoyed the Daging Masak Lemak Salai, which was rich and flavorful, along with other kampung-style dishes like Ikan Kering, Lala Masak Lemak, and Kambing Bakar. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with tender meats and vibrant vegetables that burst with flavor. Desserts: We especially loved the Sagu Melaka, which was super sweet and delicious, topped with kerisik. It was the perfect way to end our meal and celebrate my mom’s special day!A special mention goes to Mr. Hanif, who made our experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process, ensuring everything was set for our arrival. He even informed us that our dishes would be ready earlier than expected since we requested to come at 8 PM after Maghrib. His attentive service truly enhanced our dining experience.In addition to the Ramadan set, we also tried several a la carte dishes, and they were equally impressive. The menu offers a diverse selection, making it hard to choose just one favorite!
